Where is the Music Suite? The Music Suite is located on the main floor of the church in Room 212.
Do I have to be a member of the church to sing in the choir? No, we welcome anyone who wishes to join. You may become a member of Sanctuary Choir and sing in Sunday worship whether you are a member or not.
Do I have to audition to join the choir? No, auditions are only for solos, duets, trios, etc., or if you wish to join orchestra or an auditioned ensemble.
Do I have to be able to read music to sing in the choir? No, most of our members sing by ear. We rehearse music for several weeks before we sing it on Sunday. You will have plenty of time to hear it and learn it.
What if I just want to sing in a special program? We welcome you to join us for any special programs we present! Many people enjoy the experience so much, they decide to become a full-time member.
Can I still sing Sunday if I can't come to Wednesday's rehearsal? We prefer you come to Wednesday night rehearsals as often as you can; however, we realize that sometimes things come up. If you cannot rehearse Wednesday night, please still sing with us on Sunday.
How do I become a member of Sanctuary Choir? Come to either the Wednesday night rehearsal in the Sanctuary. There will be someone there to greet you and help you fill out an enrollment from. You will then be assigned a robe and given a tour of the Music Suite.
Is childcare available during Sanctuary Choir rehearsals? Yes, from birth - 6th grade. We also offer childcare during special rehearsals.
If I want to sing in an ensemble, do I need to join Sanctuary Choir? Yes, membership in Sanctuary Choir is a required to be able to audition for vocal ensembles. To make an appointment to audition, contact Chuck Bridwell, or call our Music Office, 752-1655, ext. 212.
Who is included in your Senior Adult Choir? The Singing Saints choir includes ages 55 and better.
