How You Can Get Invloved
•Mentor
1) Complete an application/interview;
2) Attend 3-4 hour training session; and,
3) Satisfy an annual Waco ISD background clearance
•Pray
The prayers of a Prayer Partner support each mentor’s visits. In addition, church members pray for specific needs of the Kids Hope USA mission (TAKS testing, student/teacher needs, God-driven outcomes).
•Give
The supplies used by this mission are provided through gifts & donations of CABC members. From books and teaching aids to learning games and art supplies, it takes resources to supply our mentors and their students. Additionally, as we are made aware of other needs from our adopted school, these will be brought before the church for consideration.
•Feed
Occasionally, there are needs to supply snacks or other food items to our Brook Avenue teachers, mentors, or students.
