Senior Adult Retreat
The Senior Adult Retreat each fall is two days full of fellowship, fun and games, good food, and an excellent speaker that is enjoyed by all. Our senior adults have a chance to get away for a time of refreshment, renewal and relaxation with their friends. Past retreats have been held at the Latham Springs Baptist Encampment, and also here at Columbus Avenue, with attendees going to their own homes for the evenings.

Senior Adult Day & Banquet
Each Spring, CABC sets aside a Sunday to honor our Senior Adults. On this day we recognize and honor those couples who have been married 50 years or more, and the Senior Adult of the Year Award is named and presented. On the Thursday before, a banquet, with a wonderful meal and entertainment, is held to celebrate our Senior Adults.
Singing Saints
The Singing Saints, Columbus Avenue’s senior adult choir, is a wonderful choral opportunity for people ages 55 and better. The choir sings a variety of music and rehearses bi-monthly on Thursday afternoons. In addition to singing in Morning and Evening Worship services, they also sing at local community organizations and participate in the State Senior Adult Choir Festival each year.
